Driving Directions

From any direction join the A1 and follow signs for Gateshead/Newcastle exiting at junction marked Metrocentre. Over 10,000 free car parking spaces, we recommend Cinema guest’s park in the yellow car parks.

Local Facilities

ODEON Metrocentere is at the heart of the leisure and entertainment Yellow Mall. Within the cinema you can find a Costa coffee shop serving the full Costa range of premium drinks and snacks. The cinema also has its own Ambar Premiere Bar and Lounge where guests can enjoy a wide variety of beers, wines cocktails, soft drinks and Costa coffees. Located on the first floor overlooking the foyer and mall we are open daily between 11am & 12am we also serve hot and cold food until 9:30pm. If you are watching a film, drinks purchased in the Ambar can be taken into the auditoriums. If you don’t have a ticket you can still come up and enjoy our first class facilities. So if you’re shopping in the MetroCentre why not come in and relax.

If like us you are Fanatical About Film we host a weekly film quiz on a Thursday evening starting at 8pm. Great prizes are up for grabs!

We also host birthday parties, conferences and events and will cater all needs.

Disabled Facilities

Full wheelchair access is available in each screen with lift access to all floors and an infrared sound system is installed in all auditoriums for those guests who are hard of hearing. You can also take advantage of our Audio Description and digital subtitling facilities in all screens. As part of a general cinema industry initiative all our cinemas accept the CEA card, which entitles the holder to one free ticket for their companion.
