What's the plot?

Based on the classic Marvel comic series first published in 1963, action-packed adventure ‘Marvel Avengers Assemble’ follows Nick Fury, director of international peacekeeping agency S.H.I.E.L.D. and the elite team of superheroes he assembles to deal with a terrifying extra-terrestrial threat to global safety and security.

Enlisting the help of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), The Incredible Hulk, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johanssen), ‘Avengers Assemble’ set forth to save the world from destruction.

If you like your movies with action & wit, then this is the one.Some films contain one liners which sometimes kill the movie as they are so bad but this movie has got the formula spot on !!!!!!!

Brilliant film. All adults at the showing we went to last night. Lots of action, comedy, good plot. Don't leave before the credits go up or you will miss what is no doubt a lead up to a sequel!

Seriously thought it was an epic film, have been to see it 5 times and once in 3D...personally 2D is better. Absolutley fantastic film, with some bits to snigger at and some that make you wonder whats going to happen next. Full of action and definatly appropriate for a 12A film. Would recommend to anyone
